Virginia C. Browder, 81, who worked as a bus driver for 25 years for Ransomville Bus Lines, died Monday (June 16, 2003) in Schoellkopf Health Center, Niagara Falls, after a lengthy illness.
Born Virginia Clark in Greenville, Ala., she attended Alabama schools.
A former member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Brantley, Ala., she enjoyed flower gardening, reading and crocheting.
Her husband, Clinton O., died in 1992.
Survivors include a son, Harry of Lancaster; five daughters, Thersa Colosi and Darlene Cronkhite, both of Ransomville, Barbara Chirello and Betty Weidert, both of Lewiston, and Sharon Kroening of Sanborn; a brother, James Clark of Le Roy; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. today in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in Pleasant Home Cemetery, Brantley.
