Truman Edward Eddy
HARTSELLE — Funeral for Truman Edward Eddy, 80, of Decatur will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Homer Jones and the Rev. Robert Watwood officiating.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery at Falkville. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Eddy died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation. He was born June 29, 1922, in Cullman County to Arthur Clarence Eddy and Ceclela Green Eddy.
He was a member of Mount Olive Holy Church of Christ and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the brother of the late Buford Eddy.
Survivors include his wife, Evelee Eddy; two sons, Ricky Eddy of Decatur and Jimmy Eddy of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Brenda Best of Decatur and Linda Johnson of Trinity; three brothers, Dillard Eddy of Albertville, Refford Eddy of Cullman and Billy Ray Eddy of Hartselle; two sisters, Hazel Chriss of Dallas and Charlotte Hamilton of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Randy Eddy, Richard Eddy, Todd Best, Jamie Fairbanks, Richard Hamilton and Donnie Morgan.
