David Guthery (1811-1893) was born in South Carolina, the son of Henry Guthery. He was married to Mary Ann Crone (1818-1892) who was also from South Carolina. They moved to Alabama after 1820 and lived there the rest of their lives. They are buried in Cullman Co., Alabama. Descendants and relatives lived in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and elsewhere.
