Dr. Helen Davis (she was a granddaughter of Sarah Ann Lord Webber) of New York City, had never been to Hornitos, having been born in South Africa and raised in England, with occassional visits to San Francisco to visit relatives, and lived the majority of her life at 1132 Fifth Avenue, New York. Both she and her sister earned PhDs, never married, and lived in NYC.
