Ann Garbarino Shoobert
Ann S. (Garbarino) Shoobert, lifetime resident of Coulterville, passed away at the Gross Convalescent Home in Lodi, following a long illness, on July 5. She was born in Coulterville on Feb. 12, 1884.
Private funeral services were conducted at the Ivers and Alcorn Mission Chapel in Merced on July 8 at 2:00 p.m., and following cremation burial will be in the family plot in the Coulterville Cemetery.
Rev. Jack LaDieu of the Little Church in the Hills, Mt. Bullion conducted the service.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Laurline Hensick of Coulterville, Mrs. Josephine Dagg of Stockton and Rose Martin of Modesto; two brothers, Eugene Garbarino of Coulterville and Joe Garbarino of Modesto.

Harry Shoobert Dies Suddenly In Coulterville;
Funeral Saturday
The Frank Greeleys received word this morning of the death of Harry Shoobert in Coulterville on Wednesday. He became suddenly ill and died while being put in a car to rush him to the hospital.
The Shooberts moved from Santa Rosa to Coulterville about a year ago. where they have been making their home withher mother, Mrs. Saveria Garbarino.
Funeral rites are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Ivers and Alcorn chapel in Merced, graveside services to follow at Coulterville.
