BREWER, DESSIE BERRY, age 95, of Hueytown, died March 17, 2003. She was a Nursery Worker at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church for many years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Peoples Chapel. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Brewer. Survivors: daughter, Jo Elaine Patterson of Hueytown; grandson, Bruce "Bif" Patterson of Newnan, GA; sisters, Anne Berry of Bessemer and Cora Barnett of College Grove, TN; Family requests that memorial contributions be made to Barnabas Hospice Foundation or Alzheimers of Central Alabama.
