This census information would indicate that Thomas DENISON Sr. came from Ireland with a family consisting of his wife Elizabeth and children Thomas Jr, Susan, and David, age 36, who lived in the frame house on C 7, Lot 7 which would become the home of Joseph Smith and Jane followed by his son Arthur Thomas Smith and Eva Emily Coulter. Eliza DENISON and John were born in Upper Canada. There may have been more children who had left the area by 1861.
