UPTON, MRS. AUDIE C., age 84, of Dora, passed away Saturday, June 12, 1999. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, from 5:30pm until 8pm at Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 14, at 2:00pm in the Bell Suniton Chapel with burial in McCormack Cemetery. Rev. Doug Tate will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Upton, son-in-law, James W. Johnson, daughter, Ila Jean Johnson, and son, Jimmy Lloyd Upton. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Myra) Upton of Sumiton and Don (Wanda) Upton of Dora; seven sisters, Maxie Upton of Dora, Nanny Lewis of Luca, MS, Juanita Haun of Sumiton, Frankie Desser of Cordova, Hazel Miller of Haleyville, Robbie Micgacz of Illinois and Ruby Boileru of Tempe, Arizona; three brothers, Harold "Sonny" Capps of Jasper, Ronnie Capps of Townley, and Neal Capps of Dora; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Bell Funeral Home in Sumiton is directing.
