His will was written May 6, 1740, probated September 30, 1745. Executor was son James. The Will gave to son James a fifth of movables; to wife Sarah, a third of movables for life and then what she leaves to go to son James, and daughters Sarah Enos, Mary Hall and Elizabeth Crandall; to second son John, five shillings, "he having had"; to son David, five shillings; to daughters a fifth each of movables; to grandson Benjamin Lewis, which was son of my daughter Ruth Lewis, 10 pounds taken out before division. Inventory was 388 pounds, 8 shillings, 5pence, viz., wearing apparel, pewter, spinning wheel, loom, 4books, 4 swine, pair of oxen, 4 cows, 3 calves, 23 sheep, heifer, etc.
