Abigail Eddy was a 2nd great granddaughter of Samuel Eddy He was born in Cranbrook England and was the 7th child if William Eddy PM , Vicar of the St. Thomas Church of St. Duncan in town of Cranbrook England. He and brother John left England Aug 10 1630 on ship Randmald arrived Plymoth Colony Mass Nov 7 1630 PS or NS Admitted to Freedom of Society and took oath Jan 1 1632. Was original purchaser of Middleboro Ma was large land owner at other places. In 1631 his assessment were half as large as Capt. Standish.
