Flora Bell Harbison Moore
Funeral services for Flora Bell Harbison Moore, 96, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Cullman Heritage Chapel, the Rev. Dudley Brock officiating, with burial in Cullman City Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Moore died Monday, Dec. 11 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on Dec. 20, 1909, in Winston County to John and Martha Lay Harbison. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Baldwin Heights Bapitst Church. She loved farming, gardening and hard work. She as a wonderful cook and seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, P.E. Moore; a daughter, Jean Moore Wood; three brothers, Thomas, Hill and Melvin Harbison; and two sisters, Laura Griggs and Madge Davis.
Survivors include two daughters, Elouise (Rolland) Oden of Eva and Jackie (Jimmy) Walker of Cullman; two sisters, Lorraine Pickrill and Theolene Moon, both of Cullman; two sisters-in-law, Francis Harbison of Cullman and Betty Harbison of Birmingham; seven grandchildren, Kelly (Kim) Oden of Acworth, Ga., Richard (Beth) Collins, Dana Walker and Christy Walker, all of Cullman, Lynn (Michael) Heiger of Decatur, Scott (Anita) Oden of Eva and Georgia (Brad) Jones of Birmingham; and 12 great-grandchildren, Morgan and Chase Oden, Katie, Sam and Sydney Oden, Mitchell and Rachael Collins, Ellie and Isaac Jones, Alyson Heiger, Walker Gilbert and Mason Smothers.
A special thanks is given ot Woodland Village Health Care Center, Hospice, and Cullman Regional Medical Center for the wonderful, loving care they provided to our mother.
Pallbearers will be Kelly Oden, Scott Oden, Richard Collins, Brad Jones, David Griggs and James “Red” Griggs.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
