Vivian Crandall, 82, of rural Milton Junction, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 18, in his home following a long illness.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton Junction, Elder Lloyd Ellison, pastor of the Milton Junction Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rock River Cemetery.
The son of George and Isaphine Lester Crandall, he was born March 8, 1884. A mechanic and gunsmith by trade, he had spent his entire life in this vicinity. He was married to Pearl Holmes on Sept. 5, 1906 in Milton, who survives him.
Preceding him in death were one sister and one brother.

Mrs. Pearle Crandall, 92, of Park View Terrace, died shortly after admission to Mercy Hospital Wednesday, May 31, after a brief illness.
The former Pearle Holmes was born March 14, 1886, at Monroe and had lived most of her life in Milton where she was married to V. S. Crandall in 1906. They lived near Milton for many years prior to his death in 1966. Mrs. Crandall was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Arthur Holmes, Milton; nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, at Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, with burial in Rock River Cemetery, rural Milton.
