Oliver M. Crandall, 94, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital where he had been taken that morning from the Furseth Rest Home, Albion. A former Milton Junction [resident], he had been at Albion since last May.
The youngest son of George G. and Mary Ann Babcock Crandall, he was born Oct. 17, 1864, at Westerly, R. I. The family came to Wisconsin in 1865 and located on a farm northwest of Albion. Later they moved to Oakland and there Oliver became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church where he maintained his membership until his death.
In May, 1891, he married Emma Serns and they resided in Oakland until 1901 when they moved to Milton Junction. Mrs. Crandall died in February 1946. In the late fall of that year he married Mrs. Cornelia I. Johnson of Cambridge and lived there a couple of years before moving to Milton Junction. She died here on Aug. 27, 1954.
A number of nieces and nephews survive.
Funeral services will be held in the Albrecht Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday between 7 and 9 p.m.

Mrs. Oliver Crandall, who has been in poor health the past five years, died Tuesday morning in her home at 33 N. Janesville street, Milton Junction. She had been up and around their house most of the time and had even been up that morning.
Emma Serns was born June 21, 1862, in the town of Oakland, Jefferson county, and on Arbor Day in 1891 she married Oliver Crandall. They lived in Oakland until 1901 when they came to their present home in Milton Junction.
Mrs. Crandall was member of the Seventh-day Adventist church at Oakland until they moved here and then she transferred to this church. She liked flowers and raised some beautiful house plants. For a number of years until her health would no longer permit, she spent her spare time making beautiful braided rugs.
She is survived by her husband, a brother, Charles Serns of Sparta, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today (Thursday) in the Phelps funeral home with Elder A. G. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Milton Junction cemetery, with J. E. Marshall, Geo. Crandall Jr., M. E. Harrington and George Palmer acting as pallbearers.
