Based on census records, Sarah was born around June 1860, probably at Sherlock's. ... she probably died 20 Sep 1936 in Contra Costa County at the age of 76. Sarah Gordon had three children by various relationships and she lived with two of her daughters near Martinez, Contra Costa county in 1930.
Sarah Gordon was once married to a man named Fox, but it appears she resumed the use of her maiden name after what I surmise was a divorce around 1900. She consistently uses the surname of Gordon in later census's through 1930.
