Phineas, born Feb. 14, 1776, married 1st Thankful Babcock; married 2nd Miss Huntington.
He settled first in Westerly, later removed to Brookfield, N.Y., and still later to North East, PA. Died in North East, Pennsylvania by an injury received by the explosion of a cannon that he was assisting to fire July 4.
