FONTANA - Charlotte M. Belland, age 85, died on Wed. Feb. 2, 1994, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. She was born on Feb. 7, 1908, in Walworth Township, WI, the daughter of Robert N. and Harriet A. (Clarke) Belland. She graduated from Walworth High School and attended Whitewater Teachers College. Charlotte was a cashier at Walworth State Bank for many years and worked at Lake Lawn Lodge after her retirement. she was a Worthy Matron of Walworth Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and a member of RSVP.
Survivors include a sister, Harriet Hill of Janesville; a brother, George Belland of Walworth; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Robert, Fred and Byron.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Sat., Feb. 5, at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, Walworth, with Rev. Donald McPeek officiating. Burial will be in Walworth Cemetery, Walworth. Friends may call at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until 7:30 p.m. Eastern Star service is at 7:00 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to Fontana Community Church or Cedar Crest in Janesville.
