Geraldine "Cleone" Van Horn, 94, of Milton, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002 at Edgerton Memorial Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 26, 1908 in Milton, the daughter of Alfred and Corabelle (Crandall) Crandall. She lived all her life in Milton. She was married to Paul Van Horn, also of Milton. Geraldine worked at Parker Pen for many years. Paul and Cleone played Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus in Milton for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church all her life.
She is survived by two sisters, Wanda (Edmar) Hansen of Milton and Gwendolyn (Dr. Victor) Loofboro of Milwaukee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 13, 1980.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002 at the Albrecht Funeral Home. Rev. George Calhoun officiated. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery.

Paul S. Van Horn, 83, of 727 E. High St., died Thursday, Mar. 13, at Edgerton Hospital following a short illness.
He was born Mar. 20, 1896 in N. Loup, Neb., the son of Holdredge and Cora Mae Davis Van Horn, and married Cleone Crandall May 5, 1945 in Milton. He was employed as a receiving clerk at The Burdick [Corporation] for 21 years until his retirement in 1966.
Van Horn attended Milton College, was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church and a former member of the Kiwanis and the Burdick union.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Kenneth of Cicero, Ill.; two brothers, Nyle of Peoria, Ill., and Rev. Ken Van Horn of Daytona, Fla.; one sister, Essie Ewing, of Scots Bluff, Neb.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Mar. 17, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton, with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. A memorial fund has been established.
