EDGERTON - Mrs. Gerald S. Whitford, 69, Indian Ford, died Wednesday night in Edgerton Hospital, where she had been a patient a week.
The former Margaret Dickerson, daughter of Alonzo and Martha Dickerson, was born Dec. 2, 1891, in Edgerton. She was married to Gerald Whitford, Sept. 9, 1912. They lived in Texas for many years, returning to this area in 1957.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Lewis Perkins, Chicago; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Jones Funeral Home, the Rev. R. W. Schittler, Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
