Mrs. Bernice Gray, 61, of Montello, died Monday in Edgerton Hospital following a short illness.
She was born Oct. 4, 1918, in Beloit, the former Bernice Hamm, and was married to Marion Gray April 2, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa. They resided in the Milton and Edgerton areas until moving to Montello four years ago.
She was employed by Nunn-Bush Shoe Factory for 23 years.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Dale of Edgerton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be held today, Thursday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, Milton. Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Albrecht Funeral Home.
Burial was in Milton Lawns Cemetery with Jeffrey Gray, Wesley Gray, Timothy Gray, David Hesselman, Emil Wille and Richard Gray as pallbearers.

Marion W. Gray, 73, of Edgerton Retirement Apartments, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, at his home.
He was born Oct. 28,1913 in the rural Milton area, the son of Fred and Jessie Cox Gray. He married Bernice Ham April 2, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa. She died Sept. 8, 1980. He had lived his whole life in the Edgerton area and was employed as a factory worker at Highway Trailer. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Milton.
He is survived by one son, Dale Gray of Edgerton; two brothers, Walter Gray of Edgerton and Merton Gray of Milton; one sister, Mrs. Genieve Hesselman of Florida; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 4 at Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton, with Rev. Glenn Skatrude officiating. Burial was in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville.
