Rex H. Burdick, 418 Clemons Ave., Madison, former Milton Junction native, died Monday, Aug. 21 in a Madison Hospital. He had been ill and in the hospital the past month.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 2 p.m. from the Albrecht Funeral Home, with Rev. Addison Appel, pastor of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Milton Junction Cemetery.
He was born March 26, 1894 in Milton Junction, the son of Fred and Lou Frink Burdick and was a resident of this area until moving to Madison where he had been employed for the past 40 years as a hotel clerk and assistant manager in Madison hotels. He was a member of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Elliot (Bette) Buffa, Brooklyn, N.Y.; a step-son Robert Swenson, Rockford, Ill. and 4 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a daughter Beverly.
