Edgerton - Louis Joseph Green, 78, life resident of the Edgerton vicinity, died Sunday.
The son of J. S. and Hannah Thomas Green, he was born Sept. 15, 1872, in Albion. He was married to Nellie Reynolds, of Verona, in 1894, and she preceded him in death. In 1901 he was married to Lydia Beeman, of Benkelman, Neb., who also preceded him in death. He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church in Albion for several years and had belonged to the Edgerton Masonic lodge since February, 1920.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Adeline Stillman, Albion; three sons, Clinton and Lyle, of Albion, and Lowell, of Janesville, and eight grandchildren. A grandchild, Sandra Green, died of polio recently.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Ruben Telefson funeral home and at 2 p.m. in the Seventh Day Baptist church at Albion, the Rev. Kenneth Van Horn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Edgerton - Mrs. Lydia E. Green, 64, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at her home.
Mrs. Green was born May 25, 1882. She was married to Louis E. Green at Woodstock, Ill., Nov. 25, 1901. Mrs. Green was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church at Albion, the Missionary and Benevolent societies and the Campus club. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Clinton G. Green, Powell Station, Tenn., Lyle J. Green, Harriman, Tenn., and Lowell B. Green, Milton Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Willis Stillman, Albion; a brother, George Beeman, Bartley, Neb., a sister, Mrs. Grace Follett, Binkman, Neb.; and a number of nephews. Mrs. Green was the youngest in a family of 12 children.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Rueben Tellefson funeral home and 2 p.m. in the Seventh Day Baptist church at Albion. The Rev. Kenneth Van Horn will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery, Albion. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Albion - Services for Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Green, who died July 16 were held July 19, in the Albion Seventh Day Baptist church.
The daughter of William and Elizabeth R. Beeman was born May 24, 1882 near Orleans, Neb., the youngest of 12 children. She was married to Louis Joseph Green in November, 1901 and with him came to Albion to live. Soon after her marriage she was baptised and joined the Seventh Day Baptist church.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Clinton Green, Powell Station, Tenn., Lowell Green, Milton Junction, and Lyle Green of Harriman, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. Adaline Stillman, Albion; nine grandchildren; a brother, George Beeman, Bartley, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Follett, Benkelman, Neb., and several nieces and nephews.
