In Nortonville, Kan., Nov. 5, 1891, of lung trouble, Wm. C. Davis, in the 83d year of his age.
Bro. Davis was born in Warren Co., Ohio, Jan. 18, 1809. He removed to Southern Indiana about 1835, and to Welton Ia., in 1861. Since 1874 he has resided in Kansas. He had been twice married and had buried both his wives. Eleven children survive him. He was a man of steady habits, firm Christian principle, and died in the Christian faith. Sermon by his pastor from Psa. 73: 1, 24. G. M. C.

At Sullivan, Sullivan county, Indiana, October 5th, suddenly, of dropsy of the heart, Mary Davis, wife of Wm. C. Davis, aged about 43 years. She had been for a number of years a professor of religion, and as such, devoted her life.
