Mrs. Joseph Rabiola, 61, of 1201 Fairview Dr., Milton, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Edgerton Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
The former Evelyn Gray was born Feb. 25, 1919 in Milton Township, the daughter of Carl and Anna Belle Vincent Gray, and spent her life in the area. A beauty operator for 15 years, she retired from a Janesville factory in 1977. She married Joseph Rabiola on Oct. 17, 1937, in Dubuque, Iowa. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Women's Circle.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, Donald Gray, New Auburn; and two sisters, Mrs. Leora Hartman of Milton, Mrs. Lillian Tucker of Janesville, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Fr. James McEnery officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Janesville. A memorial has been established.

  Joseph Rabiola, 95, of Janesville, died at his home on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.   Joseph was born in Janesville, on Sept. 6, 1916, to the late Sam and Josephine (Restivo) Rabiola.   He would marry the late Evelyn Gray in the 1940s.   On March 13, 2004, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton, Joseph married his second wife, Evelyn Hare-Grelewicz.   Joseph worked for over 45 years at General Motors, retiring as a Line Supervisor.   He was a proud member of Local UAW #95 and was one of the last "sit-downers" for better Union rights.   He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club, the Three C's, and was very close to his family and nieces and nephews.
  Joseph is survived by his wife, Evelyn Rabiola of Janesville; nephews: David Lee Rabiola of Norwalk, CA an his sons, Anthony and David Junior, James (Elsie) Campbell of Sun Prairie, WI, and Elno (Judy) Campbell of Janesville, WI; nieces, Nancy Ann (Larry) Van Austun of Buena Park, CA, and Josephine Rabiola of Texas; and many friends.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn; niece, Marge Goodrich; and niece-in-law, Harriett Rabiola.
  A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton, with Fr. James Uppena officiating.   The luncheon will follow the service, and then burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Janesville.   Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.   Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Milton, are assisting the family with arrangements.
