Lyle J. Green, 62, of 562 Academy, Albion, died Saturday at home after an illness.
He was born May 18, 1916 in Albion. He married the former Mary J. Jackson June 28, 1941 in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
An employee of Globe Street Metal, Janesville, for 25 years, Green retired in 1975. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 461 and Fulton Lodge No. 69 F & AM.
The graduate of Edgerton High School was also a 30 year member of Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Richard of Edgerton, a daughter, Mrs. Ross Slagg of Milton, six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Willis Stillman of Edgerton, and two brothers, Clinton Sr. of Madison, and Lowell of Cable.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Albion.
Friends and relatives may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Nygaard Funeral Home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m.
