Asa H. Goodrich, Milton, who had been in ill health several years, died in Mercy hospital, Janesville, early Tuesday morning. He was so ill with pneumonia Monday that he was taken to the hospital as a last resort.
Born in Kansas Aug. 14, 1877, he lived there until he was 14 years old and the family moved to Milton. In 1903 he married Miss Maude Haynes of Dane county. About six years later, partly on account of his health, he and his family moved to Rock Rapids, Iowa, where they remained seven years. Following a number of years residence in South Dakota, the family returned to Milton which has since been their home.

Mr. Goodrich was a painter by trade.
Survivors are his wife, and six children: Mrs. Fred Naatz and Orville Goodrich, Janesville; Mrs. Harvey Clarke, Milton Junction; Mrs. Herman Shore, Miss Theresa Goodrich and Virgil Goodrich, at home; also six grandsons.
