Ida May (Hamilton) Wells 1855-1934

Mrs. Ida May Wells died in her home in Milton, Wednesday evening following an illness of only three weeks. Private funeral services will be held in the home at 1:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 o'clock in the Seventh Day Baptist church. Rev. Carroll L. Hill, pastor of the church, will officiate and be assisted by Dr, Edwin Shaw. Burial will be in Milton cemetery.
Ida May Hamilton, daughter of Edward and Melissa Burdick Hamilton, was born June 22, 1855, in Lima. She attended Milton college and was married in 1885 to Fremont C. Wells. Two children were born to them, Wayland who died in infancy, and Lela Livingston, Milton, who survives her. There also is a grandson Ivan Livingston.
Mrs. Wells was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church.
