William Pierce, son of Samuel and Susan White Pierce, was born at Alfred, N. Y., Sept. 29, 1824, and died July 12, 1905, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. C. Garthwaite, Milton Junction, Wis.
Funeral services were conducted by Prof. Edwin Shaw, and the interment was made in the Rock River cemetery. E. S.
