"The Seventh-day Baptist Register", Vol 3, No 16, p 63, June 15, 1842.
In Friendship, on the 17th ult., Mr. Wait Clark, 67 years of age, after a short illness of about a week.   He was born in R. I. where he made a public profession of faith in Christ, and became a conspicuous member of the S. D. Baptist Church in Hopkinton, he subsequently removed to Preston, N. Y., thence to this town.   He has left a widow and a number of children with a large circle of friends to mourn the loss.
Brother Clark was blessed with more than an ordinary gift and for the last two or three years his daily life gave evidence that he was ripening for a glorious immortality.   He frequently remarked to his friends that the hour of dissolution was not far distant and manifested a willingness to depart and be with Christ.   Just previous to his departure he called his children, and warned them to be also ready.   Retaining his reason, he died in the triumphs of faith.     Z. C.
Notes for Nancy (Spouse 2)
At the age of eighteen she embraced religion, united with the First Hopkinton Seventh Day Baptist Church, with which demonination many of her descendants are still identified. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church at Friedship, N.Y., which relation she had faithfully sustained for upwards of forty years.

A comfort and blessing to her children, universally respected and died in hope of glorious resurrection.

Married by her father in his church.
