In Milton, Wisconsin, October 2, 1852, Mrs. Elizabeth Flint, aged 57 years and 8 months. Sister Flint embraced religion when about sixteen tears old. It being inconvenient to meet with the Seventh-day Baptists, she became a member of the First-day Baptist Church, (but kept the Sabbath,) where she retained her standing about four years; then removing to Allegany Co., N. Y., she united with the 1st Seventh-day Baptist Church of Alfred, where she remained until the constitution of the Seventh-day Baptist Church in Scio, where she and a few others united to worship the God of the Sabbath in the beauty of holiness. There she maintained a pious and godly life, until she was removed by the hand of God to his blest abode, where the wicked cease from troubling, and the weary are at rest. In her death the church lost a worthy and exemplary member and her husband and children lost a loving and devoted companion and a tender and kind mother.

Note: burial was in Milton Cemetery.
