Issue: July 8, 1937
Returning from a trip to Lansing, Edwin Rodden, accompanied by Fred Elliott and John Palmer had the misfortune of an auto accident Sunday evening just north of Lansing when their car crashed intobroadside by another car coming out a side road. The impact threw Rodden out of his car on his face, bruising him up quite badly. He was taken to a hospital for treatment but
released Monday night and went on to Detroit with his mother who had been called from here by the accident. Elliott and Palmer escaped with slight scratches.
