Milton - The Rev. Erlo E. Sutton, Boulder, Colo., a resident here from 1923-1937 and former pastor of Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church, field secretary of the SDB Sabbath School board, and editor of the adult quarterly from 1927-1951, died at Boulder on Saturday.
He was born April 25, 1879, at Berea, W. Va., and served churches at Berea, Rockville, R. I., Andover, N. Y., Little Genesee, N. Y., and Shiloh, N. J., before coming to Milton. He later served in Denver and Boulder, Colo., retiring in 1948 but continuing active in church work.
Surviving are a son, The Rev. Trevah R. Sutton, El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Randolph, Freeport, Ill., and grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow in Boulder, the Rev. Elmo F. Randolph formerly of Milton officiating.
