Mrs. Erma Drake, 78, formerly of 106 W. Madison, Milton, died Sunday in St. Elizabeth Nursing Home.
Born on April 22, 1905, in Harmony township, the former Erma Brown married Howard Drake in 1934 in Emerald Grove. a 1928 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Drake was employed six years by the Edgerton Hospital prior to her marriage.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Delmar Wrensch of Cupertino, Calif.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Beth Jones of Milton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Albrecht Funeral Home-Milton, where friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Milton West Cemetery.

Howard Drake, age 90, of 1329 Mt. Zion Ave., Janesville, died Tues., June 27, 1995, at mercy Hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1905, in Albion, WI, the son of Erwin and Edith (Main) Drake. He was a carpenter all his life. He was married to Erma Brown Nov. 28, 1934; she died in 1983. He married Bernice Meyer July 2, 1985. He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He was formerly of the Milton Junction Council and a long time director at the Milton Savings & Loan.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice of Janesville; a daughter, Ellen (Delmar) Wrensch of Cupertino, CA; 3 stepdaughters, Darlene (Joe) Terwilliger of Paulding, OH, Shirlene (Hank) Holdorff of Janesville, and Karen (Kenneth) Krueger of Milton; a grandson, Tyson Wrensch of Santa Clara, CA; a granddaughter, Mardell Wrensch of Los Angeles, CA; 8 stepgrandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Fri., June 30, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Janesville. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Rev. Lee Meissner will officiate. Friends may call from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Hwy. 26, Milton.
