Floyd G. Arnold died Tues. evening, Jan. 4, 2000, at Nazareth House, Stoughton. He was born at the family farm house near Milton, WI, on Aug. 14, 1906, the oldest child of William "Harry" and Daisy Grace (Hudson) Arnold. He graduated from Milton Union High School in 1925. He farmed most of his life in the Milton area, but also did milk testing, worked at GMAD and Highway Trailer, plus was a custodian at Milton College. Floyd married Ella Lamb on April 20, 1933; she died of cancer in 1975. He married Elizabeth (Martin) Schultz on July 21, 1978. He was a happy farmer, liked animals, especially horses, was proud of his family, enjoyed many friendships, was active in Janesville's First Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed winters in Florida.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Arnold; his sons, Richard (Patricia) of Milton, and Arthur (Sheela) of Janesville; his grandchildren: Sheri (William) Schumacher, Jeffrey, and Matthew Arnold; great-grandchildren: Cory Arnold, Jessica Schumacher, Angela Koepp, Kamrin, Sarah, Natasha, and Meghann Arnold; special friends, Victoria Loucks, and Teresa Pollnske; a sister, Myra (Irv) Myklejord; and a brother, Duane (Elsie) Arnold. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and a sister-in-law, Charlie and Ruth Arnold; plus a sister and brother-in-law, Eva and Raymond Robertson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 7, 2000, at Henke-Clarson-Holzhuter Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville, with William Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 Friday at Henke-Clarson-Holzhuter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in Mr. Arnolds name to First Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Floyd G. Arnold, 67, of 1122 Walker, died Monday in University Hospitals, Madison, after a long illness.
The former Ella Lamb was born Jan. 3, 1908, in the town of Johnstown, Rock County, and was married to Mr. Arnold April 20, 1933, in Janesville. The couple farmed in the town of Fulton from 1938 until retiring to Janesville in 1974. Mrs. Arnold was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Richard, Milton, and Arthur, Janesville; three grandchildren; a sister, Marietta Lamb, and a brother, Charles Lamb, both of Janesville.
Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday in Overton Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
