year of 1647 (this date must be in error as I have a PeterTallman in the list of ships arriving here on June 02, 1648 on the ship "Golden Dolphin", it could be that the it was to the Island of Barbados, that the author was referring to) within two years after his arrival he married Ann Hill, and after seven oreight months after his marriage he moved to Rhode Island, bringing with him his wife (Ann), his wife's brother Robert Hill , and his wife's mother who after Phillip Hills' death (this is Ann's father ) married John Elten. She removed to Rhode Island to Flushing , L.I. (probably after her marriage to John Elten , this is my opinion ) and thence to Staten Island, taking her son Robert with her. It being reported that she married again, Capt. Hudson and had a child or more by him. "
