Ferieda Bernice Burdick, 95, died Monday, Jan 23, 1995, at the Premier Care Center, Beloit, following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 2, 1899, in Eau Galle, Dunn Co., Wis., the daughter of Gordon and Florence (Bowen) Fowler. She grew up at Beauchane, now the Village of Exeland. She was married to Charles Crandall Burdick Nov. 13, 1927, in Lima Center, Wis. He died July 27, 1965. She was a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, the Diaconate and the Afternoon Women's Circle. She was a former member of the American Red Cross, the Milton Historical Society and also a former guide at the Milton House Museum.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Oscar C. (Dora) Burdick of El Cerrigo, Calif.; her daughter, Mary (Henry) Kipp of Beloit; six grandchildren: John Burdick of Stockton, Calif., Ruth Burdick of Oakland, Calif., Richard Burdick of Davis, Calif., Nancy (Douglas) Larson of Browntown, David (Phyllis) Kipp of Beloit, and Philip (Sally) Kipp of Beloit; six great-grandchildren: Rose, James, Sara, Timothy, Brandon and Ryan; a sister-in-law, Hazel Fowler of Whitewater. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Kenton Fowler; her sister, Gwendolyn Fowler; and her great-grandson, Adam David Kipp.
Memorial services will be held at the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. George Calhoun and Rev. Earl Cruzan will officiate. Burial will be in the Milton Junction Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church or the Missionary Society. Albrecht Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Charles C. Burdick, 78, Milton, died unexpectedly in his home Tuesday, July 27, at 4:30 p.m. after apparently suffering a heart attack.
The son of Gaudentia and Delcina Burdick was born in Lima Township Jan. 24, 1887, and had been an area resident all of his life. He was married to Ferieda Fowler on Nov. 14, 1927. He was a member and Deacon of the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church. Until his retirement eight years ago, he was an employee of the Burdick Corporation, Milton.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Rev. Oscar Burdick of El Cerrito, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. Henry Kipp of Beloit; five grandchildren; two brothers, Leon Burdick of Milton Junction, and Lee Burdick of DeLand Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Earl Armitage of Sheridan, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church, Saturday, July 31, at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Addison Appel officiating. Burial will be in the Milton Junction Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
