Mrs. Keith, 67, wife of George B. Keith, postmaster at Milton Junction, died from bronchial ailment, at 2:00 a. m., Friday, in Pinehurst sanatorium where she had been a patient sufferer for six months, following a lingering illness.
About nineteen years ago, Mrs. Keith suffered a breakdown but after a few months treatment in Wales sanatorium returned to her home obviously having regained her health, only to have the insidious disease, which baffled all treatment, in time, return.
Mrs. Della Keith, daughter of the late George W. and Euphemia Dennett, was born on the farm known as the "Dennett" Farm, west of Milton Junction, and lived her entire life in this vicinity.
On April 23, 1890, she was married to George B. Keith. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Erma Mabson and Mrs. Gladys Madden and two granddaughters.
Mrs. Keith was a charter member of the Royal Neighbors and a helper in church activities when her health permitted her doing so.
She was reserved in manner, a devoted wife and mother, a loyal friend and charitable in thought and deed toward others.
The pathway of many has been made the smoother by her extended hand of help. Mrs. Keith has passed on but the memory of her kindly deeds will remain.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Anton Hatlestad of Mayville, assisted by the Rev. F. P. Hanaman, were held in the home, at 2 p. m. Monday, July 16th, and burial was in the Milton Junction cemetery.
