Dea. Wells K. Green was born in Pinckney, N. Y., May 2, 1807, and died in New Auburn, Minn., Aug. 18, 1887, aged 80 years, 3 months and 16 days. He was converted in 1830, and the following year was baptized into the Adams Church. In 1840 he moved to Watson, N. Y., and became a constituent member of the church at that place, and at the same time was set apart as deacon. In 1848, having changed his residence, he became a constituent member of the Hounsfield (N. Y.) Church. In 1854 he moved to Boone county, Ill, 16 miles from Walworth, Wis., and united with the church at the latter place. In 1863 he moved to Walworth, and in the following year to New Auburn, Minn., becoming a constituent member of the church at the latter place. He thus helped to organize three churches. He was very faithful and was gifted in exhortation and prayer.

Eliza Greene Quible raised the daughter of Wells Kenyon Greene (her brother & son of Joseph & Betsey). Wells Kenyon Greene went westward and had additional children with Rosanne Witter his 2nd wife. I never understood why Wells left his other 2 children behind as he had remarried before he left. His (Wells Kenyon Greene) son by his 1st wife Margery Drake was also in Adams but I do not find a record as to who raised him. Perhaps it was also Rev Quible & Eliza because they were childless. But I have not been able to document that portion yet.
