"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 24, No 25, p 99, June 18, 1868. In Transit, Minn., April 29th, 1868, very suddenly, Phedora, wife of Horace M. Babcock, and daughter of Dea. Zina Gilbert, in the 32d year of her age. Resigned and hopeful, she fell asleep in Jesus. Her husband, by persevering against many inconveniencies had built a house on his homestead claim, and got it nearly ready for her reception; but she was not permitted to occupy it. We trust, however, that she is called to occupy "a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." She was a member of the Christiana Seventh-day Baptist Church at the time of her death.
