Funeral services for Esther Bingham, 85, of 523 Parkview Dr., who died Mar. 14 at Mercy Hospital were held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton, with Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating.
Burial was in Milton Cemetery with Bill Arthur, Ken Ochs, Russ Burdick, Leman Rood, Leland Shaw, and Arthur Drake as Pallbearers. Memorials may made to the church.
Mrs. Bingham was born Nov. 24, 1894 in West Hallock, Ill., the daughter of Calvin and Ester Rood Crandall. She moved to Milton in 1905 and married Merrill Bingham Sept. 10, 1919 in Milton. He died June 10, 1968. The couple farmed in Milton township for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Milton.
Survivors include one brother, George Crandall, of Madison; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cecilia and Ada, and one brother Jay.

Merrill Bingham, 73, Fulton Township farmer since 1937 and well-known breeder of Holstein cattle, died early Monday, June 10, in Mercy Hospital, Janesville, where he was admitted a week ago with a heart condition.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, in the Albrecht Funeral Home, the Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery with Elton Bingham, Charles Bingham, Howard Miller, Spencer Howard, Ray Ferlott and Ronnie Dorwin as pallbearers.
The son of Elmer and Daisy Howard Bingham, he was born in Harmony Township March 26, 1895, and was a graduate of Milton high school and the U. W. Agriculture School Short Course.
He was married to Esther Crandall in Milton on Sept. 10, 1919. The couple lived in several state areas while he managed dairy herds, and since 1937 had farmed in Fulton Township. He was a member and active in the Holstein Breeders Association
Surviving are his wife; three brothers, Elton of Milton, Dr. Elmer Bingham of San Diego, Calif., and Howard L. of Elkhorn; five sisters, Mrs. Beth Borden of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ruth Schmidt of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Dorothy Weidner of Wauconda, Ill., Mrs. Phoebe Winch of Madison, and Mrs. Cleone Emerson of Riverside, Calif.
