In Milton, Wis. Jan. 24th, 1880 of dropsy, Mrs. Maranda L. Langworthy. She was born in Brookfield, N. Y., Dec. 4th 1800, was married in 1822 and raised ten children, eight of whom are still living. Her husband died about fourteen years ago. She was a very kind mother and a generous, accommodating neighbor. She never openly professed hope in Christ but was a lover and diligent reader of the Bible, and in her last sickness was known to pray frequently. N. W.

He was born in Rhode Island, embraced the Christian faith in early life, and subsequently united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church in Darien, N. Y., but like too many others neglected to transfer his membership to any church in this country, D. E. M
