Donald I. Crosby, 88, died Saturday, March 22, 1997, at the Skaalen Home, Stoughton, where he had been for the past seven years.
He was born Aug. 23, 1908. He graduated from Milton High School and Madison Business College. He worked for F. Shadel Painting Contractor, in the office. In 1928 he married Ann Tande. He went to work at General Motors in the accounting department. Later he worked as a business manager for the United Mink Producers, until retiring at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; a son, Don (Kay) Crosby, of Whitewater; two daughters, Marilyn (Lee) Scoville of Milton, and Judy (George) Klingler of Iowa; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Agnes; and two brothers, Norman and Leon.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25 at Hope Lutheran Church, Milton. Pastor Joel Olsen officiated. Burial was in Milton Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Our beloved mother, Ann Crosby, 98 years old, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, at the Skaalen Retirement Home in Stoughton, WI, of natural causes.
She leaves behind her three children; Marilyn (Crosby) Scoville of Milton, Donald A. (Kay) Crosby of Whitewater, and Judith A. (George) Klingler of Williamsburg, IA. She is further survived by a brother, Orville and Peg Olson of Stoughton; and Ann's family included nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald I. Crosby.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at the Milton Cemetery in Milton, WI. The Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, is assisting the family.
