M. JUNE CABLE
M. June Cable, 65 of Cassadaga, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011 at Brooks Memorial Hospital.
Born June 11, 1945 in Jamestown, daughter of the late Henry and Mary Wescott Yernberg. A Chautauqua County resident all of her life she was a 1963 graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown School of Nursing.
She was employed as an LPN from 19641973 at WCA Hospital. June then dedicated her self as a fulltime homemaker and wife, mother and grandmother.
An active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Jamestown she was active in many ministries including Joint Neighbor Projects, Nearly New Store and MELD.
June was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, sewing and made receiving blanks for many of her friends and family.
Wife of 36 years to John Paul Cable who she married June 14, 1974; mother of, Allison (Thomas) Lawson of Fredonia, Bonita (Jonathan) Mazzone of Jamestown; grandmother of Dominic Mazzone, Desi and Padraic Lawson; sister of Mary Autumn (Robert) Speer of Jamestown.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 556 E. 2nd St., Jamestown. Visitation 24 and 79 p.m. Thursday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial in Cassadaga Cemetery, Cassadaga.
