CABLE, WI – Lowell B. Green, age 87, died Wed., Jan. 24, 2001, in Cable. Lowell Beeman Green was born July 31, 1913, in Edgerton, the son of Louis and Lydia (Beeman) Green. He attended school in Albion, and he worked on the family farm for several years. He took a job with the Highway Trailer Company as a sheet metal worker and manufactured semi trailers. He was joined in marriage to Barbara Diedrich on Jan 28, 1956, in Dubuque, IA. He retired in 1965 and moved to Drummond in July of 1972. He moved to Cable in 1977. He was a charter member of the Barnes and Cable Lions Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, trapper and loved being in the outdoors and working in his garden and flowerbeds.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 2 sons: Cal Green of Edgerton, and Dwight (Sue) Green of Milton; 3 daughters: Deborah (John) Trewyn of Knierim, IA, Susan (Larry Metcalf) Green of Hayward, WI, Lori (David) Popelka of Cable; 4 step-sons; James (Shirley) Krueger of Springfield, IL, Dennis Krueger of Edgerton, Donald (Cindy) Krueger of Battle Creek, MI, and Russell (Tara) Krueger of Prairie Du Chein; 3 step-daughters: Pauline (James) Geiger of Drummond, WI, Janice (Tim) Kusick of Mellon, WI, Christine (Neil) Van Demark of Florida; 18 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; {lost] great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Sandra Green, Rosemary Glowacki; a grandson, Michael Green; a granddaughter, Catherine Green; 2 brothers, Clinton Green, and Lyle Green; and a sister, Adaline Stillman.

EDGERTON— Ruby Hardy, 87, of Edgerton, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the Harbor House in Beloit.
She was born on May 28, 1919, in Elmwood, WI, daughter of the late Roy and Freda Pearl (Mallard) Jenkins. She was united in marriage on Sept. 28, 1968, to William J. Hardy in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1990. She was a member of the Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed her artwork, interior decorating, sewing, sculpting, painting, quilting, antiques, her doll collection and her swans. Her special love was of all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 sons, Cal (Donna) Green of Edgerton and Dwight (Sue) Green of Milton, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her nieces. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Rosemary Glowacki and Sandra Green; 3 sisters: Mable, Eva and Helen, 2 half-sisters, Evelyn and Virginia; and a half-brother, Oliver.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2006, at the Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Burns officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in the Township of Albion. Friends may call on Sunday, June 11, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Ehlert Funeral Home, (St Hwy. 51 S.), Edgerton, and at the church on Monday, June 12, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

Barbara M. Green, 89, of Hayward, WI, was called to the loving arms of our heavenly Father on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Barbara Mae was born on June 30, 1919, in Wilmington, DE, the eldest daughter of Frank & Dorothy (Hoppe) Diedrich. Her family moved to the Fort Atkinson, WI, area when she was a young child, where she lived and worked for the majority of her life. Barbara married Lowell Green on Jan. 28, 1956, in Dubuque, IA. They made their home for many years in Edgerton, WI, before moving to Drummond in 1972.
She is survived by her daughters: Pauline Geiger, Janice Kusick, Christine Vandemark, Debbie (John) Trewyn, Sue (Larry) Metcalf, and Lori (David) Popelka; sons: James (Shirley) Krueger, Dennis (Sandy) Krueger, Donald Krueger, and Russell Krueger; stepsons, Cal (Donna) Green and Dwight (Sue) Green; 38 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at Pineview Funeral Service, 9343N County Road K, Hayward, WI. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Cable. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
