In Grafton, N. Y., Nov. 21, 1883, Stephen Peckham, in the 81st year of his age. The subject of this notice spent his life on the old homestead. He was a man greatly respected in the community in which he lived, and with his wife, who survives him, reared 10 children, all of whom are still living. He had never made an open profession of faith in Christ, but in conversation expressed a hope of a blessed immortality beyond the grave. B. F. R.
