Notes for Benjamin Franklin BURDICK
"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 66, No 11, p 352, Mar. 15, 1909.
Benjamin F. Burdick was born in the town of Lincklaen, Chenango County, N. Y., September 30, 1820, being the fifth of a family of nine children, all of whom have passed away except one brother, Deacon Eden Burdick of Richburg, N. Y., and Mrs. Abigail Saunders of Milton, Wis.
When Brother Burdick was but seven years old, his father was accidentally killed. The widow and her family remained nine years thereafter in Lincklaen and then came to Almond, Allegany County, N. Y. From there, after a few years' residence, they came to Little Genesee and vicinity, where the subject of this notice spent the remainder of his life. In 1844 he became a member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Genesee and continued in that relation until his death which occurred February 23, 1909. He was for many years the chorister of the church and until failing health prevented, was active in his cooperation with the church in its work for the Master.
Funeral services were held from his late residence on the afternoon of February 26, conducted by his pastor. S. H. B.

Notes for Julian Ann (Spouse 1)
"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 47, No 14, p 224, Apr. 2, 1891.
Julia Ann Burdick, daughter of Dea. Joel and Huldah Crandall, and wife of Benjamin F. Burdick, was born in the town of Hopkinton, R. I., May 29, 1827, and died in Little Genesee, N. Y., March 23, 1891.
When she was one year old her parents removed to Genesee, where she has since lived. At the age of seventeen she united with the First Genesee Church. She has maintained an exemplary Christian life, adorning her profession with a meek and quiet spirit. Her unassuming manner and even temper endeared her to all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed, not only by her companion and children, brothers and sisters, but by the entire community. G. W. B.
