Dr. Brown has always resided in Brookfield, teaching school in early life; was educated at Brookfield Academy and High School, Alfred Univ., and Syracuse Univ.; later in 1881, began the practice of medicine and surgery; has a large practice. Both are members of the Seventh Day Baptist Church, Brookfield.

Harriett Marilla Stillman was born April 12, 1863, near West Edmeston, N. Y. In 1891, her family moved to Brookfield where she afterward lived till her death, which occurred February 20, 1935.
She was married, June 10, 1930, to Dr. H. Clift Brown, who passed away October 31, 1934. Farewell services were conducted by Rev. Herbert L. Polan, assisted by Rev. Paul S. Burdick. H. L. P.
