MADELEINE BRELING
A rosary at John Cox Piedmont Chapel in Oakland, on Thursday night was followed by a requiem mass on Friday, March 6, at the Saint Theresa Church in Oakland for Mrs. Madeline Breiling, who died there on March 2. She was a native of Mariposa, aged 89, and was the widow of the late Oscar S. Breiling.
Surviving are a son Oscar B. Breiling, and two daughters, Dorothy Sulliens and Geneveive Libby of the bay area; two brothers, Peter Gordon of San Francisco and William Gordon of San Jose: eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Another daughter, Eleanor Breiling pre-deceased her.
Interment was in the family plot at Saint Marys Cemetery.
