Notes for Pardon COTTRELL
Pardon Cottrell and his family lived in Petersburgh, N.Y. on land leased to Lebbeus, Sr. by Patroon Stephen Van Rensselear. He was on a lease in 1824 with Benjamin and Lebbeus Jr. Pardon and Abigail were among a list of members of the Berlin SDB Church. After their names, in the Petersburgh Church Record, is written "removed to Alfred SDB Church." Pardon was among a list of Masons in Petersburgh in 1819. wherein he stated he was over 21.
