Milton - Mrs. Edwin H. Morse, 83, Newville Road, Rt. 2, Edgerton, died Thursday after an apparent heart attack while at the Janesville Mall.
The former Mabel Clara Bliven was born Nov. 2, 1891, at Albion and was married there Dec. 17, 1912, to Mr. Morse. The couple farmed in the area for many years before retiring some time ago. Mr. Morse died in 1970.
Mrs. Morse was a member of Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church and its women's groups, and a longtime active member of Milton Grange.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Gerhard Barsness, Edgerton; a brother, George Bliven, in Florida; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, where Milton Grange will hold a memorial service at 8 p.m.
Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the church, with burial in Milton Cemetery.

Edwin H. Morse, 80, R. 2, Edgerton, died Thursday, June 4, in Rock Haven, Janesville. In failing health for the past year, he had been a patient at Rock Haven since May 14.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 6, in the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church, the Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating. Burial was in the Milton Cemetery with Howard Drake, Arthur Drake, Paul Green, Ralph Green, Walden Lippincott and William Arthur as pallbearers.
He was born Oct. 20, 1889, the son of Charles M. and Alida Hemphill Morse, in the Town of Fulton, on the homestead farm where he had lived most of his life. He was a graduate of a Chicago high school and the University of Wisconsin in 1910. He had been a member of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church since 1911.
He was married to Mabel Bliven Dec. 17, 1912. in the Albion Seventh Day Baptist Church, and the couple had farmed in Fulton Township until his retirement due to ill health.
Surviving him is his wife. An only child, Helen Alice, died in 1923.
