"The Sabbath Recorder", Vol 38, No 40, p 5, Oct. 5, 1882. In North Loup, Neb., Sept. 17, 1882, of typhoid fever, Herbert Lincoln, son of Rev. G. J. and Elizabeth A. Crandall, aged 17 years. Herbie was a good, faithful, talented boy, and we had hoped to see him actively engaged in preaching the gospel, but God in his own way, we believe, has led him to himself. We are thankful that the Father gave him to us so long, and we bless his holy name, in these hours of sadness. He will surely bring good out of it to us all. G. J. C.
